Terms and Conditions

The following information is proved in conjunction with our Cookie Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use

 

My name is Jim Laver trading as Sweet Aroma’s. My business address is 46 Wood Rd, Heybridge, Essex, CM9 4AT. This number is for those who you have an urgent inquiry about an order.  Under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the receipt of your goods to return them if they do not meet your requirement. This also includes if an item is broken upon receipt. 

Commission Orders: A commissioned order is one that you have asked for in a different colour and/or fragrance to the one that is listed on the particular product. These are non-returnable unless the item is broken on receipt. We offer a cooling off period of 48 hours after all details have been confirmed. If a cancellation notice is given within that time then a full refund for the item(s) will be issued otherwise we will consider the details as confirmed and the item(s) will be made to the specifications commissioned. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are correct at the time of confirmation including the delivery address for the item(s) ordered and contact details. A 50% deposit of the total commissioned order price is payable upon order confirmation and is non-refundable if the order is cancelled after the cooling off period has expired. The balance of the total commissioned order price is payable once all details have been confirmed and before the item is created and dispatched. Once we have received full payment of the total commissioned order price then we shall create your commissioned order. 

Delays in a commissioned order: Should there be a delay of any kind then we shall endeavour to keep you informed of these via the contact details you have provided. You will be offered a refund of any monies paid if you decide to cancel your order due to delays. This is the only exception to our cooling off period.

Delivery Information: All items are sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or via Royal Mail Parcelforce for the UK Mainland. Since items can vary in size and weight we are unable to specify an exact price for both UK Mainland and International mail. Each product has a shipping charge per item and should the total order shipping price be less than the shipping costs, a refund of the over payment will be issued. 

International DeliveryAll international orders will be sent via Royal Mail Parcelforce Worldwide. We will not be responsible for any import taxes or delivery charges that occur from international deliveries outside of the shipping costs that you have already paid for delivery.

Collection: We can accept in person collection but please contact us first to arrange this. Any items collected will be refunded the cost of the postage after collection. Should an item or items reserved for collection not be collected after 3 working days, we reserve the right to resell those items not collected. This includes commissioned items. We will endeavour to contact you via the details you have given us before we offer the non collected items for resale.

Returns and Refunds: You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. It is your responsibility to send the goods back to us or hand them to some-one who has been appointed by us to collect them on our behalf unless we have agreed to collect them in person. You must send the goods back to the address that we have specified by us for returns. If we have not given an address to which you may send them then you can send them to back to any address that we have specified for you to use to contact us or our listed business address. Any refunds will be issued by us to the payment method that you have used to place the order unless otherwise agreed by us with you. Unless we specify otherwise any returns that are to be collected by us in person, any costs incurred by us performing this action will be payable by you. Should any goods arrive broken or faulty then please contact us via our Contact Form or via our email within 7 days of receipt. The goods must be returned to us at your own cost. We shall either send a replacement item to you or we shall issue you a full refund via the payment method you used to purchase the goods. Should an item arrive broken then we will require photographic evidence of it. No refunds will be issued outside the payment method you used to purchase the goods unless we otherwise agree by both us and you.

Recurring Subscriptions: Some of our products are sold on a recurring subscription basis. These subscriptions are payable every 30 days from the date of ordering on a recurring basis via PayPal unless we have received notification of cancellation in writing no less than 14 days before your next subscription payment is due. Failure to do so will mean that your next subscription payment will be due.
